About IBO Player

IBO Player is one of the most versatile IPTV media player applications available today. It can be installed on virtually every platform and operating system -- from Android phones and tablets to Amazon Firestick, Windows PCs, macOS computers, and Samsung/LG Smart TVs.

How to Install IBO Player on Android

  1. Open the Google Play Store on your Android phone or tablet.
  2. Search for "IBO Player" in the search bar.
  3. Tap Install and wait for the download to complete.
  4. Open IBO Player. You will see a Device ID and Device Key on the screen.
  5. Visit iboplayerapp.com on a web browser and log in to your IBO Player dashboard.
  6. Add a new device using the Device ID and Key displayed on your Android device.
  7. Add your OpenVOD playlist (M3U URL or Xtream Codes) through the dashboard.
  8. Return to the IBO Player app and refresh. Your channels and VOD will load automatically.

How to Install IBO Player on Windows

  1. Open the Microsoft Store on your Windows PC.
  2. Search for "IBO Player" and click Get to install.
  3. Launch the app. Note the Device ID and Device Key.
  4. Go to iboplayerapp.com, log in, and add your device.
  5. Enter your OpenVOD M3U/Xtream Codes credentials in the playlist section.
  6. Refresh IBO Player on your PC to load all channels and VOD content.

Installing IBO Player on Amazon Firestick

  1. From the Firestick home screen, go to Find > Search.
  2. Type "IBO Player" and select it from the results.
  3. Click Download or Get to install the app.
  4. Open IBO Player and note the Device ID and Device Key.
  5. On your phone or computer, visit iboplayerapp.com and add the device.
  6. Enter your OpenVOD playlist credentials through the online dashboard.
  7. Refresh the app on your Firestick. All content will be available immediately.

How to Install IBO Player on macOS

  1. Open the Mac App Store on your MacBook or iMac.
  2. Search for "IBO Player" and click Get.
  3. After installation, open the app and note the Device ID/Key.
  4. Log in at iboplayerapp.com, register the device, and add your playlist.
  5. Refresh IBO Player on your Mac to start watching.

How to Install IBO Player on Samsung & LG Smart TV

Samsung Smart TV (Tizen)

  1. Open the Samsung App Store from your TV's home screen.
  2. Search for "IBO Player" and install it.
  3. Open the app and note the Device ID and Device Key.
  4. Visit iboplayerapp.com on another device, add your TV, and enter the OpenVOD playlist.
  5. Refresh the app on your Samsung TV.

LG Smart TV (webOS)

  1. Open the LG Content Store on your TV.
  2. Search for "IBO Player" and install.
  3. Follow the same Device ID/Key registration process at iboplayerapp.com.
  4. Add your OpenVOD playlist and refresh the app on your LG TV.

How to Add Your IPTV Playlist to IBO Player

After subscribing to OpenVOD, you will receive your playlist credentials via email. There are two methods to add your playlist:

Method 1: M3U / Streaming Line

  1. Log in to your IBO Player dashboard at iboplayerapp.com.
  2. Select your registered device.
  3. Click "Add Playlist" and choose "M3U URL".
  4. Paste the M3U URL provided by OpenVOD.
  5. Save and refresh IBO Player on your device.

Add XC (Xtream Codes) Playlist

  1. On the IBO Player dashboard, click "Add Playlist".
  2. Select "Xtream Codes API" as the playlist type.
  3. Enter the Server URL, Username, and Password provided by OpenVOD.
  4. Save the playlist and refresh your IBO Player app.
  5. All live channels, VOD, and series will load organized by category.

Using the Live TV Section

Once your playlist is loaded, the Live TV section displays all available channels organized by category (Sports, News, Entertainment, etc.). You can:

  • Browse by category: Use the left sidebar to filter channels by genre or country.
  • Add favorites: Long-press or click the star icon on any channel to add it to your favorites list for quick access.
  • Search channels: Use the search function to find specific channels by name.
  • View EPG: Access the Electronic Program Guide to see current and upcoming shows.

Movies & Series Section

The VOD section contains our library of 170,000+ movies and series. Content is organized by genre and updated daily with new releases. You can browse, search, and filter by category. Series are displayed with season and episode listings for easy navigation.

IBO Player Settings

Key settings you can configure within IBO Player:

  • Network: Configure proxy settings or buffer size for your connection speed.
  • Parental Control: Set a PIN to restrict access to specific channel categories.
  • Live TV Player: Choose between the built-in player or an external player.
  • VOD Player: Select your preferred video player for movies and series.
